Meet the people behind the success of MAG.

Michał Śmigielski

President of the Management Board of MAG

Michał Śmigielski is an economist by education, graduated from International Economic Relations
with a specialization in Sea Trade at the University of Gdańsk.

He has been associated with MAG since 2000, from the very beginning of his professional career. In 2003-2005 he worked at PSA Transport in London as a representative of MAG.

After returning to Poland, he was one of the initiators of the construction of the MAG reloading terminal in Darłowo. In 2008, he launched an innovative activity within the company, focused on transshipment and transport of wind turbine elements. The adopted concept turned out to be a great success for the company and made MAG a logistics leader in this industry.

From 2019, he is a port and logistics specialist at the Polish Wind Energy Association.

In addition to his professional activity, he is an ice hockey enthusiast – he was a co-founder and Vice President of the
Polish Hockey League, the Pomeranian Hockey Club.

Krzysztof Laskowski

Vice President of the Management Board of MAG

Krzysztof Laskowski has been associated with Morska Agencja Gdynia since 1984. He is an economist by education. He graduated from the University of Gdańsk – Faculty of Foreign Trade.

In addition, he completed postgraduate studies in management at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia and postgraduate studies in economic law at the University of Gdańsk. He is a scholarship holder of the British Institute of Management in London.

The Vice President of the Management Board of MAG also developed his competences during apprenticeships, including at Furness Withy Chartering in London, Australian National Line in Melbourne and at Crescent Shipping in Rochester, UK.

During 37 years of work at Morska Agencja Gdynia, Krzysztof Laskowski has gone through all levels of management. In 1989, he actively participated in the privatization of the company as an initiator of this process, as well as being a part in MAG’s restructuring and switching to free market modes. The initiator of the construction of MAG Centrum – an office complex associating companies from the logistics and maritime industry. At MAG he carried out reforms aimed at modernizing and computerization of the enterprise. He also participated in determining the development strategy and creating new branches of activities within the company.

His great passion is skiing and traveling.
