The Maritime Labour Convention (MLC 2006) is a comprehensive legal act that integrates, to the widest extent possible, all applicable standards of the current international conventions and guidelines for maritime labour. The purpose of this convention is to ensure both equitable labour conditions for seafarers and fair economic competition between renowned shipowners.
The Seafarers Recruitment Team acts as intermediary in the job search for seafarers with foreign shipowners and operates in accordance with the provisions and regulations included in MLC 2006 and appropriate provisions applicable in Poland.
